Liquidated Damages Exposure Calculator
Enter your contract value, your margin and the LD rate from your contract. You get the exact day count at which liquidated damages have consumed the entire profit on the job, and the point at which the loss starts coming out of your own pocket.
Flags an uncapped LD clause, a cap that sits above your margin, and a daily rate high enough to be worth questioning.
Open the calculator →Payment Claim Timing Calculator
Enter the date a payment claim was served and see the full sequence that follows — when the payment schedule is due, when payment falls due, and the three separate adjudication deadlines depending on what the respondent did.
Handles the Christmas exclusion period in Queensland and Victoria, and lets you enter the shorter periods your contract may impose.
Open the calculator →Money On The Table — Self Audit
Seven questions about one live job: unapproved variations, verbal instructions never confirmed, unclaimed delay, disruption, overdue retention, disputed back-charges, and unresolved final account items.
Sorts what you are owed into three bands — documented and notified, documented but never notified, and undocumented — because the total matters far less than how much of it is still recoverable.

These tools exist because the same calculations kept coming up in contract reviews. If there is a piece of commercial arithmetic you do repeatedly on a spreadsheet, it is probably worth building properly.
Send a suggestion →When the arithmetic is not enough
These tools measure exposure. They cannot tell you which clauses created it, what they do to you, or what position to take before you sign. That is Contract Risk Intelligence — a clause-by-clause review with transparent pricing and no demo required.

Nothing is collected
No sign-up, no email gate, no tracking of what you enter. Calculations run in your browser.
Arithmetic, not advice
These tools work on figures you supply. They do not read contracts or assess entitlement.
Multi-currency
Nine currencies supported. No conversion applied — figures stay in the currency you select.
Disclaimer — All Tools
This disclaimer applies to every tool published on this page, and applies in full whether or not it is reproduced alongside a given tool. Each tool also carries its own disclaimer addressing limitations specific to it.
These tools are commercial intelligence, not legal advice
Every tool on this page performs arithmetic or date counting on figures and dates you supply. None of them is legal advice, a legal opinion, or a substitute for advice from a qualified construction lawyer or other appropriately licensed professional.
They do not create a client relationship of any kind, and nothing produced by them should be relied on as a determination of your rights or obligations.
They do not read, interpret or assess your contract
No tool on this page ingests a contract, interprets a clause, or forms a view on what your contract means. Where a tool asks you to enter a period or a rate from your contract, it accepts what you enter without checking whether you have identified the correct provision.
Identifying the right clause is your responsibility, and it is frequently the hardest part of the exercise. A calculation performed on the wrong clause is confidently wrong.
They do not determine entitlement
These tools describe exposure and timing. They do not assess whether an entitlement exists, whether a claim is valid, whether a notice is compliant, whether an amount is properly levied or certified, or whether any defence or set-off is available.
A number produced here tells you the size or timing of something. It does not tell you whether you will recover it, or whether you owe it.
Output is only as good as your input
The tools cannot detect an implausible figure, a misread date, a rate stated weekly rather than daily, or a margin calculated on a different basis to the one assumed. Check what you have entered before you rely on what comes out.
Statutory positions and published dates change
Legislation, regulations, public holiday dates and business-day definitions change, and reforms may commence between the date a tool was built and the date you use it. Verify every figure against the current legislation register and the relevant regulator before acting.
Where a tool states the date its underlying data was compiled, treat that date as the limit of its currency.
Nothing is collected, and nothing is stored
All calculations run in your browser. No figure, date or other input you enter is transmitted to PiVOTiQ or to any third party, logged, or retained. Because nothing is stored, no output can be retrieved later — take your own record of anything you need to keep.
No liability is accepted
PiVOTiQ Commercial Intelligence, its directors, employees and agents exclude all liability, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind arising directly or indirectly from the use of, or reliance on, any tool on this page or any output produced by it, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law including the Australian Consumer Law.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the resupply of the service or the cost of resupply, at our election.
Obtain professional advice
These tools are designed to show you that a question is worth asking. They are not designed to answer it. Where a commercial position, a statutory deadline or an entitlement matters, obtain advice from a qualified construction lawyer or an appropriately qualified commercial adviser before acting.
